The practice relaunches
A renewed independent tax, accounting, and technology business begins taking shape.
About the practice
Reitnour Bookkeeping is intentionally independent: close enough to know the client, experienced enough to see the larger picture, and flexible enough to adapt when the facts change.
The practice was relaunched in 2008, moved to Mahanoy City in late 2013, and incorporated in 2019. Through every stage, the purpose has stayed remarkably consistent: help people make sense of financial work that can otherwise feel impersonal and overwhelming.
That means asking more than “Which form?” It means understanding the business behind the books, the story behind a tax notice, and the person behind the return. Reitnour Bookkeeping pairs professional discipline with the continuity of a local practice—you are not starting over with a new stranger every time you call.

What guides the work
The right answer depends on the facts, the history, and what the client is trying to accomplish.
Clients should leave a conversation understanding more than when it began.
Advice has to work in the real business, household, schedule, and budget—not just on paper.
